Update on Our New Fire Line Construction

As many of you are aware, the construction of the new fire line was completed over the summer. Thank you again to everyone who helped make this happen.  This unforeseen construction amounted to approx. $342,400 for the parish’s portion of the project.  The total construction cost was $684,800. Fortunately, the school was able to cover the other half of the costs.

And we are happy to report that as of Sep 30, 2023 we have raised approximately $132,800 as a result of the many generous donors and fundraising teams.  Our humble gratitude goes to each and everyone of you for making this happen.

However, we still have a $209,600 deficit. Thankfully, we had enough funds in our Maintenance and Improvement reserve.  However, our reserve was substantially depleted.  And we must continue to rebuild our reserves to prepare for the upcoming maintenance and improvement projects,  (i.e. roof replacement, landscaping, parking lot repavement, etc.).

We hope that you will continue to prayerfully consider giving towards our Fire line repair project.  Every generosity is well-appreciated no matter the amount.

Blessings to you all,

Fr. Erick Villa
