This month of May, we are grateful for having our Blessed Mother as our sure hope and protection – always interceding on our behalf. During this month dedicated to her, we especially remember all mothers and women of goodwill.

Mother’s Day is a wonderful opportunity to highlight the beautiful vocation of motherhood and the gift of life. It calls us to cherish the gift of life that we receive from our mothers and to pray for all women to whom God has entrusted life in a very special way.

So as a community of faithful here at Saint Raymond’s, let us together pray: “God, thank you for the gift of life. Thank you that your heart is for us, and that you are with us. Today we pray for refreshing, for joy, for grace, for wisdom, for great peace for all mothers, for mothers-to-be, and for women who nurture and lead. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.”
