Welcome to the Sacramental Preparation for Teens at Saint Raymond’s, a program for our young people in grades 6th-12th to prepare them to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Eucharist!

RCIT is a two-year program. During their first year, the youth will attend the middle school EDGE ministry or the high school Confirmation program depending on their grade level.

During their second year the teens will continue to attend their youth program and have an additional  RCIT class together with those specifically preparing for these Sacraments. RCIT meets the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Tuesday of the month from 7:00-8:30 pm in the Moran Hall with our catechists.

The teens will receive their first Reconciliation during our Advent class Reconciliation night. Parents are asked to attend also.

They will receive their first Holy Communion during spring of that second year. Families make pick to have their communion at the Spanish 12:30pm or the  English 5:00pm Mass the first weekend in May. The rehearsal will be scheduled the week before the actual Mass.

There is an additional sacramental fee of $70 for the RCIT program the second year the teen is registered.

Teens in our RCIT program are required to attend a retreat in their second year of formation.

• --Middle school teens will attend our middle school Twilight Retreat in February from 5pm-midnight
• --High school teens will attend either the Confirmation Year 1 or Year 2 Retreat

Parents are required to attend our Sacramental Parent Meetings throughout the year to prepare themselves as well.

This year our 26-27 Sacramental Parent Meetings will be:

• -Monday, November 9th at 6:30pm in the Church- First Reconciliation Info (childcare available in Kids Klub)
• -Monday, February 8th at 6:30pm in the Church-First Eucharist Info (childcare available in Kids Klub)
