Faith Formation

St. Raymond Department of Faith Formation recognizes that faith is a God given gift. Our goal is to assist the families of St. Raymond’s community in fostering and nurturing this gift of faith.

This Bible based program, which meets weekly, provides catechetical and faith formation for children in grades 1st – 5th not attending Catholic School. Classes are offered Tuesday  4-5:30 pm, Wednesday 4-5:30 pm, and Wednesday 6-7:30 pm.

Eucharist Program for Children

The Eucharist Program will prepare children to celebrate the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist.

St. Raymond has a two-year preparation policy for receiving these sacraments as follows.

Your child must have completed 1 year of basic Faith Formation within the past 2 years in addition to being enrolled in this year’s Faith Formation class or attending St. Raymond School.

If your child has had no formal training in Faith Formation within the past 2 years, they will be placed in a basic Formation class this year and enter into the sacrament preparation class the following year.
