In this first letter to you, I begin with the word that Father Erick used in his last letter to you: BLESSED!  This word describes exactly how I feel as I begin ministry here at Saint Raymond! Just a few words of introduction. I was born and raised in Oakland, California. I grew up in Saint Anthony’s Parish. I received all of my Sacraments and celebrated my First Mass there. Before being ordained a priest, I taught in several Catholic schools in our diocese of Oakland. I enjoyed teaching!

I will share more about myself in the days,weeks and months ahead. I look forward to meeting you. I ask for your prayers. Be assured of my prayers for you.
