Beginning tomorrow, July 16, our daily Mass here at Saint Raymond will be 12:15 PM only, with Holy Communion distributed after the Mass. We request that you reverently and safely observe social distancing as you alight from your cars and line-up along the pre-marked spots at the front doors of the Church. Our ministers will assist you going in and out of the vestibule as you receive Holy Communion. Tomorrow being the Memorial of Our Lady Mount Carmel, we will also have the Blessing and Investiture of the Brown Scapulars at Our Lady’s Grotto, 1PM for those who wish to do so.
Please note that we have decided to shift to in-vestibule distribution of Holy Communion after we have experienced in the last month a number of episodes involving the consecrated hosts being compromised because of the strong breeze outdoors. We will continue to offer drive-up distribution of Holy Communion this weekend until we are able to have everybody accustomed to receive Holy Communion in the vestibule.
Special thanks to those who immediately reached out to offer help. You are amazing! Click this NEW link to sign-up as volunteers.
Finally, this link takes you to our updated schedule of Masses and Confessions effective tomorrow, July 16. We will keep you posted on the latest developments as we receive guidance from our Bishop and his team helping us navigate through these changes. We pray for them; as we pray for you, our parishioners and friends. We will overcome these challenges, and we will receive more graces because of our perseverance, patience and faith.
With you in prayers,
Father Erick
