Vacation Bible Camp

We call VBS here at St. Raymond's VBC (Vacation Bible Camp) because a camp is way more fun than school!

Every summer we invite parents to sign up their children ages PK-5th grade to participate in Vacation Bible Camp.

This is a Monday-Friday camp at the parish where our young ones get to learn stories from the Bible, play games, learn songs, and do crafts that correspond to our VBC theme.

Our counselors for VBC are primarily middle school and high school students who are looking to give back to their community and be role models for our campers. We need adult help too, so consider volunteering for us!

Our summer 2023 theme was 'Stellar' how God's love for us is out of this world! Check the photos below to see how much fun we had in all our stations.

We also have daily interactive skits that our counselors put on for the kids:

Every year we collect school supplies to fill backpacks for less fortunate kiddos in our Diocese by partnering with our sister parish!

Here is Ms. Maggie giving the backpacks to a volunteer from our sister parish in Richmond.

Every year on the last day of VBC we invite the parents for a final performance of all the songs the kids have learned throughout the week.
