How long is the season?

Evaluations will be held in early-mid September. Season practices will begin the first week of October. The regular season is 10 games and there is also a post-season for teams who make the playoffs. The season generally runs from late October to mid-February.

Where and when are practices?

Practices begin in October and there are generally two practices per-week depending on gym space.  Practices take place in Dublin and San Ramon. Practice days and times are dependent upon the coaches schedule. Please remember that our coaches, board, and athletic director are all volunteers.

Can my child pick his team or be moved from one team to another?

No. All teams are final.  We want to create fair and balanced teams. Once your child is selected for a team, there are no refunds. Much goes into making this volunteer program work, which includes reserving gym space and other costs.

Are players allowed to register at a higher grade level in order to play up a grade level?

No. Any player who attempts to play-up either through registering incorrectly or misrepresenting their child's age is subject to removal from the program with no refund.  Please understand this rule exists to serve all children.  Catholic Youth Organization is a ministry of volunteers serving children in a manner that serves the common good and embraces the values of the Gospels.

What are the fees?

The fees for the 2022-2023 season will be $325 per player.  There are discounts for 3 or more players in the same family.

Registration may close early if our program reaches capacity early. No Refunds will be given after September 1st for those who registered on-time. A $50 fee is assessed for cancellations prior to the September 1st deadline. Please understand that we incur costs that must be paid prior to the start of the season.

Do you offer financial assistance?

Financial assistance is available, please contact the Athletic Director if you need assistance.  Those who receive financial assistance based solely on need are required to donate time to the league.

Will the league provide a uniform?

No, there will be an additional fee of $40 for the uniform shirt and shorts which your child will keep and can use for multiple years.  (There is a possibility this fee will change this season. I will update the site when I receive final pricing.) For returning players with uniforms we will ask for the number so that we do not duplicate numbers.
